I own a black 2007 model, 81k miles, Delkevic exhaust, no cat. Had it dyno\u2019ed in 2020 by a Harley shop who measured crank values, rather than rear wheel. Bike had 71k on it then\r\n\r\n188 hp\r\n114 ft. lbs\r\nwhomever wins this will want to install a \u201cbooster plug\u201d to richen the fuel mixture at rpm\u2019s below 3k. \r\n\r\nHang on when you hit 3200rpm! Several modifications and by the K1300s model they got it right.\r\n\r\nBy comparison K1600\u2019s, also wet clutch, seem to have zero clutch issues\r\n\r\nThis is not a deadly issue, but rather a \u201cwear\u201d issue. The inner and outer friction plates don\u2019t get enough oil, hence premature wear. If you catch it early, it\u2019s just replacing the friction plates, probably around $500 at dealer. If you don\u2019t catch it early, replacing the entire clutch basket (with modified oiling properties) will add another $1,000 to the tab.
