I don't think I've ever seen one in such good, original condition. \r\n\r\nWere the seats restored at some point? I can't imagine that the original seats could be so nice after 50 years. \r\n\r\nThat said, I can suggest a couple things to check. There is a little paint loss, which looks like it could be rust-related, along the trim on top of the rear fenders. The gap between the outer and inner rear fenders is a water trap, and it is a common rust area. It might be a good idea, at some point, to remove the fender, wire-brush off any rust, touch up the paint, and seal it on reassembly. It's not a terribly difficult job or anything that has to be done urgently. \r\n\r\nTR4As have a number of weak places in the front suspension, mostly where the lower control arms attach, and the arch where the differential is mounted. These should be checked for cracks, especially since the car has had a front-end mishap. You can get reinforcing pieces for them. Installing them requires welding, I'm not sure the rear can be done with the body in place. The front requires removing the control arms. Again, if there are no cracks, this isn't something urgent, but it's worth doing at some point. It can be caused by rusting where the rear body and deck panels are spot welded to the inner fenders. One of my TR4As is badly aflicted with this. I took off my rear fenders and trim bead in hopes of a simple fix as smaas suggest, but mine is much worse. I'd be very curious to see an inspection camera view of the inside of those rockers! I had an 80 Civic wagon Ziebarted when new and it still turned into a Flintstone mobile. I'm sure the transverse muffler was original to this car, but the 4A seemed to come with either this transverse (TR250 like) setup or a front muffler 2-in, 1-out to a Y-pipe and dual resonators. My CTC6xxxx IRS car has the dual setup, but my CTC7xxxx IRS had the transverse. Both of my cars have SU's.
