I believe the lean-burn was only on the 4BBL 400 engines. This car came equipped with a catalytic converter and egr valve. Everything is unaltered in the engine bay..I might add the head riser works fine..many times those a seized or the thermo spring is broken. As far as the history goes...I don't have much other than the daughter of the original owner told me her dad ordered the car new and he owned an upholstery shop and sparingly used the car for hauling some fabric, occasional family road trips and Sunday drives. It has been garage kept it's entire life. I would say that 95% of the paint is original ..or maybe its 100% I don't know but I have not seen any kind of overspray or evidence of paint work.. 1970's metallic paint jobs don't hold up too well unless the car is well cared for, this Inca Gold Metallic has held up extremely well. The '69 was a \"factory official's car\", purchased for 1/3 off the MSRP through my cousin, who was a Chrysler VP's secretary. The '73 was totalled by my oldest son less that two weeks after I bought it. The '75 I bought used; it was in like-new condition, much like the Plymouth in this article. All three had just about every option, including a/c, roof racks, power everything, wood grain panelling, and three seats. The '69 even had the rear a/c, tucked into the ceiling between the second and third seats! Ah, yes...glorious cars!
