It's a genuine iconic vintage muscle car that is not so nice it can't be driven, and not so original that it's obligated to be restored so that it's too nice to be driven.\r\n\r\nIt's a one year bombshell in the street wars as you didn't need a lightweight B-body Mopar with a Hemi to dominate at the stop light, you could do it with a 440. 1967 was the first year of the regular production 375 HP RB that was unleashed by the improved head port design. It was also a unique year as the 915 head castings featured a closed chamber. Beginning in 1968 the 906 castings went to an open chamber. Up through the '90s I was on continuous lookout for 915 heads that I would swap onto my 383/400/440 for the quench and bump in compression. I assume as this auction notes a swap to a 1969 440 that the 915 heads are gone but a minor difference these days. \r\n\r\nAs a nice driver with authentic pedigree and appearance, there's great opportunity to spruce it up a little while using it as a proud and fun driver. The grill and bumper could be removed long enough to carefully mask and paint the bulkhead and lower support proper matte black. Hit the anti-roll bar at the same time. A disk brake conversion would be no foul and I'd lose that deep oil pan and avoid instant loss of oil pressure on a pothole. Correct exhaust tips are reproduced and would look awesome. The ventilated cop wheels are great too but I'd probably put correct '67 poverty caps on it. The cop caps are \"cool\" but just a little modern for my idea. To @TheRichGuy 's point as our world gets hotter, it's become very accepted to install a contemporary aftermarket AC system in vintage cars so I'd do that too.
