Looking at it from every angle, there is no way to tell it had any paint work done. Other than those small areas, the paint is all original. Regarding the parts that were replaced, I saved every single part that was pulled off the car for the next owner. The parts that still had NOS available, I used, such as the brake master cylinder. I had the Car Wizard do just enough to make the car safe and drive-able, that also included a complete flush of all fluids. It is white has a houndstooth side stripe and a dealer installed vinyl top..I am odd in that I love the vinyl top Zs..guys remember TEHO please hold the judgment lol\nAs for this Z INCREDIBLE! Last read was April 1976 and the mileage recorded was 9,653. I have a stack of registration cards but none have the mileage printed on them. What I can tell you is the car has a working odometer and the previous owner also signed an affidavit, under penalty of perjury to the State of Kansas attesting to the original miles which resulted in the miles being recorded on the title as actual. The car was sitting on its original factory TOYOs and had all of its factory original parts (everything I replaced I saved for the next owner). I have no other printed documentation of miles spanning the years 1977-2018, only the condition of the car and the family's story which is detailed in the Hemming\u2019s article in the gallery. \r\n\r\nIt\u2019s difficult to verify mileage on cars this old that have been stored but logically, it\u2019s impossible for this car to have 110k miles because it would have rusted out and would reflect extreme wear overall. This car does not. It\u2019s condition is consistent with a low miles car that has been off the road for many years.\r\n\r\nI took the car to the Omega Auto Clinic and Dave Long (the car wizard, from Hoovie\u2019s Garage and Car Issues with Tyler Hoover on FYI Network) did the work on the car, his work is up on YouTube documenting what he did. He has no dog in the fight and believes the miles to be original due to the condition of the body and original parts.\r\nI happily welcome any kind and type of independent verification/inspection. \r\nWhat I can verify is the family connection to the car but not the story timelines or miles after 1976 (kinda impossible to do since the car was inoperable and being stored). The first owner is documented in the cars paperwork as Dr. David V Fetter who died in San Francisco in 2009, you can find his Obituary in a google search. According to the obituary, Dr Fetter was married to AnnMarie Pope and I purchased the car from a Mr. Troy Pope who was his nephew. The car was walled in to Troy Pope\u2019s workshop and Troy said the car had been off the road since 1980s when his uncle put it in storage due to a fuel system problem. He reported that he and his father retrieved the car from his uncle\u2019s storage garage after his uncle died and trailered it to Kansas with the intent of getting the car running and driving again. But life happened and he never followed through and ended up storing the car himself in his workshop.
