Tell ya what -- best car I've had. You get a super reliable and inexpensive Toyota engine and transmission - so it's cheap to operate and repair. The car is all fiberglass and aluminum so never worry about rust issues either....so these little suckers can last forever. Mid engine, lightweight, handles fantastic. To top it all off - these cars are never going to go down in value at this point - just up. While the truck is of course small compared to most cars, it actually has more luggage room that the Mazda Miata. End result is that you end up with a exotic sports car with world-class performance that you can actually drive every day (which is what I do). Bad things of the car? You need to plan an extra 10 minutes to get gas because a crowd appears and wants to chat and people are always honking, waving, hanging out car windows to take pictures. None of that bothers me -- but some people it might. Then there is snow. I did drive mine a couple of times in the snow -- and ummmm... let me put it this way - I do not recommend it lol. Lastly -- if you're 300 pounds or really fat then this is not the car for you. Personally I have not found any other car in the price range of these Lotus Elise's that I would rather have.
