Almost all of them source mainly used parts, especially key components. The original builder was Joe Petro out of East Wakefield, New Hampshire. If you Google him, you can see his racing career. He and his son built numerous cars, but this one was for them personally. By the time he finished, he was pretty far along in years, so he barely put a few miles on it. This one has nearly everything you can stick on these cars: side skirts, rear diffuser, carbon fiber higher wing, all the scoops, and the wrap I paid for was about $8k, in addition to refinishing the wheels, etc...so, it really stands out as a result. If you prefer a gloss finish, the paint underneath is the identical color scheme, just in gloss paint, and it's great shape, since I wrapped it with about 100 miles on the car. One of my other GTM's did have the 6 speed transaxle, and they're very comparable in terms of the shifting....it's intended to be tight and hard hitting, but it shifts great - no issues. \r\nUltimately, these are not factory produced cars, but it's why you get something that looks like a $350k car for a fraction of the price. You should be able to transfer title to your state or just re-register in Montana, as I did\r\nIt should pass emissions, but I have not had to take it, since I registered in Montana\r\nThe NH VIN is just where it was originally titled from the first owner prior to me, but my plates and title are now in Montana\r\nFor maintenance, I had been taking it to Zen Racing, but they closed for good about 5 months ago.
