The car had very low miles (13k) and was perfect. \n\nWe got about 90 minutes outside of DC and, well after dark in rural West Virginia we blew a tire. It was a literal nightmare getting a tow back to DC and, worse yet, getting a ride for my wife and young daughter back home. \n\nNeedless to say, our trip was delayed and we didn\u2019t take the Alpina (sad face)\n\nThat experience taught me several valuable lessons including: 245/35-21\u201d Michelins are not readily available and, if road-tripping the B7 it\u2019s best to carry a full sized spare in the ample trunk. \n\nWe ended up driving the car to Montreal, NY, and Atlanta in later trips and it was remarkable. But never without a 21\u201d spare in the trunk. \n\nOn the night I was dropping off the car to my detailer to prep it for the new owner it blew a tire again. 95n between DC and Baltimore. This time no spare in the trunk. Another nightmare. \n\nThis is not to dissuade anyone. They are amazing cars.
