My reasons:\n1. The trunk letters say FUTURA. Sprints said FALCON across the trunk.\n2. Per the VIN the original engine was the smallest 6 available in the falcon line, the 144 inch. Sprints got the 260 V8.\n\nI believe it's a very nice Sprint tribute, but a Futura with a V8 swap and some Sprint badges added. Also the trans was swapped from the original 2 spd Ford-0-Matic. The driver side brace is often in the way when upgrading the master cylinder. Normally when one brace is cut out, they both are. Not sure what's been done here. It appears the driver side brace has been replaced with a piece of round rod. I see something attached to the stub of cut off brace and curving around the mc. It appears to be attached to the shock tower but none of the photos show the attachment point clearly. It is very strong and secure. The steering box has been serviced and has no play. Car goes down the road with no wander and handles great. In the driving video you can see the steering wheel is a bit to the right of center. The front end shop said I needed to move the wheel as they could not adjust it to center. I have since done that and the wheel is perfectly aligned. I also added a new speedometer drive gear at that time to more closely match the lower rear end gears. Any other questions, please ask.
