My very first BMW was bought at that time (in 1998, it was a 5 year old '93 740i) and this addiction has been a real thing ever since, haha. \n\nI've done so much research and reading about E32s ever since. These cars are the most extensively developed BMW of all time. They were a huge leap ahead for BMW and the start of a great great age in their history. The E34 of course soon followed. If you are a fan of these cars, I strongly urge you to find the book \"Seven years of the 7\", a large, extensively photographed book that documented this car's development. Complete with a large cross-sectional view poster. It is hard to believe that it all started clear back in the 70s. Computer aided design was just becoming a thing, as were computers operating so many of the operations of a vehicle. It amazes me to this day that the computers in these cars are still functional, to be honest! It's also pretty cool that they can be hooked up to BMWs mainframe, and they can identify it and know it's mechanical history (often) of over 30 years ago. For that matter, to this day things like transmissions can communicate with that computer of BMWs and fix bugs and delete codes and read history. I find that to be pretty fantastic. \n\nThank the artistic genius of Ercole Spada for this and the E34s looks. It\u2019s nice. The interval setting device is really great..Just go from off to on and back off again real quick, wait till the next wipe interval is needed..turn back on again, and that pause you made is your set-interval. It\u2019s really intuitive and easy and is your exactly perfect interval (till the rain changes lol)\r\n\r\nThe beep before the hour is actually 15 seconds. Gets me a scare every time still to this day, haha \r\n\r\nThe beauty of these early V8s and even V12s, really, is that they\u2019re built simply and to LAST. They were not squeezing the last extra 25-30 horsepower out of them with variable valve timing and other BS that came in the mid/late 90\u2019s. They are just clean, simple and plenty powerful for the 7. Nowadays some folks just want bragging rights and that\u2019s just silly with a classic. As the owner of a '91 750il, the comfort of high-speed cruising in this is unlike any other car of this vintage. Compares nicely with todays cars....amazing given that is now 30 yrs old. My 6' tall teenage sons love hopping in the back, reclining the seat (reclining rear seat was WAY ahead of its time), and riding at illegal speeds in pure comfort.\n\nKudos to the owner(s) to have kept the self-leveling suspension intact.....so many of the E32 v12s have been retro-fitted with \"traditional\" suspension which is a short-cut that undermines the great road manners of this beast, and keeping original indicates the owners willingness to spend the $$ required to properly maintain it. Car looks pristine for an original, un restored car (that interior, as most E32s that have been taken care of, looks like it could be in a 5yr old 25k miles new car).
