This maintains the original appearance and provides an accurate speedometer reading and gearing. The car originally had Pirelli P7s when it was acquired but they were old and worn. The P7s, of course, are no longer produced. It was hoped that there would be a P7 Corsa Classic size that would work but the profiles are too low. Avon is a good choice that fits and I often see them on GT40s. With this hp I would recommend these - the tradeoffs being they are more than double the price with 70% less treadwear and are really summer-only. The Cinturato P7s are also now available in a size that would work. The BFGs have the white lettering facing inward right now so if you prefer you can remount the tires to show the white lettering. I was never provided the engine screen and luggage tray. It seems that the museum had always displayed the car with these removed so the public could view the engine. They kept the tray and screen stored for so long that when the museum was dismantled they had no recollection what these stored items were for and they had been discarded by the time I finally got in touch with the right people. These, while harder to find, can also be obtained. All in, the value of these items are under 5% of value and arguably not always desired or useful. The view from the rear view mirror is above the top of the filter and with the rear window so close you end up with a fairly wide view. The side mirrors are also surprisingly effective when well positioned. The K&N XTreme filter assembly was chosen after I tested different types of filter configurations on the dyno. There was a 20hp difference between the Xtreme and the worst one. Connecticut is a \"No-Title\" state for classic cars greater than 20 years in age.
