I would have to research that in 1966 California law. However I truly doubt that tricarb was installed right after the sale. The tricarb factory parts have a different throttle rod, the one on the car is a 4 barrel throttle rod, same thing with the throttle bell crank, this car has the 4 barrel bell crank, not the tricarb bellcrank. If the dealership installed it they didn\u2019t order all the parts. Whether it was added last year or in 1966 isn\u2019t a big deal, it\u2019s still a tricarb now. The invoice shows it ordered with a 4 barrel carb.
