The one-year-old Open Range tires are great in snow and ice. I'm not sure how the center differential distributes power to the front and rear axles, but I can't remember ever experiencing slipping or sliding. If the conditions are really nasty, we will lock the center differential to be cautious. The heated windshield keeps visibility 100%.
