During ownership my only component failure was a seat switch at about 50K miles and my friend had one coil fail around 70K. The ride is on par with an E Class Mercedes; there's very reasonable room for four (looks are deceiving); the handling is graceful; the B&O audio has extraordinary capability; there is simply no more enthralling V12 exhaust note in the business; and you'll get the \"who's that?\" look everywhere you go. The car is fantastic. It's a newish GT with an oldish soul. RWD, NA V12, torque converter automatic. The 4-door body makes it quasi-practical (the small rear seats keep it from being completely practical). Buy it and drive it like a MB Estate - the car is kind of a shooting brake anyway. The Rapide still looks like something that rolled off an auto show stand, a decade frim its debut, and there is really nothing that AM is replacing it with. There's a bit of timelessness here. The new owner will be very, very happy.
