But they don't look terrible. \n-- The wood dash has been refinished, and not well. It's supposed to be veneer. This looks just like a brush/varnish job. Also, the left side fitment is sloppy and off. \n-- Most of the '75/'76 emissions system is still in place, kind of a rare thing. However, there is some sloppy plumbing evident and it looks as if the vacuum retard to the distributor has been removed. I'd want to know if the original air cleaner assembly comes with the car.\n-- Looks like the driver's door needs to be reset as the lower gap appears off.\n-- The windshield glazing isn't centered. The joining clip should be in the center of the lower rubber, it appears to be off to the right by a few inches.\n\nWhat does all this mean? Not much work is required to bring this up to show quality. That's a great paint job. Notice the seams between the rear fenders and the body? That area separates the men from the boys when respraying a TR6. This one looks to be done right.\n\nAnd although the top is not original style w/ reflective stripes, it is folded down correctly in the photos. Bonus points for that.\n\nBottom line: This is one of the nicer TR6s. I now own a personal TR6 as these prove to be great cars at a fair price. We have received several TR's with top issues from them being folded wrongly. Its always a pricey fix too. \r\n\r\nI was at Mecum in Harrisburg and there was a very nice Blue TR6 there I was discussing with my friend on the phone. He said to take off the top cover and pull up the top to inspect it. Under the top cover the top was just crammed down in there in wad all wrinkled up. A dealer owned the car and came up and questioned what I was doing. I told him I am planning to bid on car and know them well and showed him how to fold the top properly on his car. Thankfully it was not ripped. That dealer had over 100 cars at that auction all no reserve.
