I do agree that the \"SS Badging\" is something that was a personal touch, and bothered me. It wasn't until I had seen a number of other 67's posted at big name auctions with the same \"add-on\", when I decided this car was not alone. After viewing so many cars, I did not let it be a deal breaker because this one in particular was so pristine. I had always figured I could take the decal off the air cleaner, replace the gas cap, and have the nose strip re-sprayed. The car does not leave my heated garage unless I take it out to run it up and down our lane every 3-4 months. Everyone whom comes over to my house asks what is under the cover...when I remove it the number one word I hear is \"wow\"...haha. The photographer whom shot it, said it is the nicest car he has ever taken photos of. I have a brand new Magna-Flow exhaust system in the box from Jegs if anyone wants it with the car. My plan was to set-aside the original engine block and transmission and add a 383 EFI Stroker, TH 350 Transmission, and the MagnaFlow system with headers. Life happens, kids, happen, plans change.
