Here are the answers to the questions so far. I'm selling the car because I'm moving and don't have the garage space in the new home, also I've started a new project - 1973 911T Targa. The passengers side rear view mirror I decided to add after I finished the car, just thought it would look better with both. The doors all came with welded nuts underneath the door skins but the passengers mirror was an option. It was a little nerve wracking to drill the 2 holes through the doors, (along with some precise measuring), but the nuts were there, put some rust stop on the holes and bolted in the new mirror. 5 Lug hubs were done because I wanted to use Fuch style wheels, these were done by PMB. I moved the battery to the trunk and repaired the hell hole, basically I just thought this was a better location. They did all the first time start-up, break-in, tuning of the carbs, bleeding brakes, adjusting e brake, etc. Additionally, I had them go through the entire car and check everything was operating properly. They also did alignment, ride height, etc. As mentioned in the description the engine is built on a 1.8 core and has a counterbalanced crankshaft, modified big valve ported heads with 96mm biral cast-iron cylinders and flat european pistons. Called my mechanic from German Excellence in Winter Park, Fl, and he kindly agreed to let me bring it over right away. I thought maybe I had a leaking valve cover gasket. However it turns out one of the oil gallery plugs in the case is leaking. This regrettably is not a quick repair. He recommended we replace all 3 of the plugs with threaded plugs from LN Engineering. If that is the case, there is no performance improvement in them alone. Adding heat back would require replacing them with good heat exchangers and the elbows, control boxes, hoses and connectors to the channels in the longs. The red handle is near the shift lever, but you'd need to make sure the cable is present and in good shape. You can do the heat without the fan but it does help move air. A fair bit of work, but none of it is too difficult.
