S2/RS2 share identical suspension (shocks and springs). The only difference in the setup is the front sway bar which is slightly larger on the RS2. \nThe big difference is in wheels and tires. This is where it gets a bit strange. \nPorsche decided to run a 245 section tire on a 7\" rim (17\" dia) while the stock S2 remained on a 205 using a wider 7.5\" wheel (16\" dia). Some people with stock RS2 wheels eventually run 225 as a replacement as 245 is a bit silly on such a narrow wheel and vice versa some people with S2 (myself BTDT) run 225 as well, so the difference can become blurry. Having driven both I find very little difference. In that case, the vehicle itself needs to have been built at least 25 years ago (exactly) from the date you try to import it - not just the model year. There should be a sticker with the build timing info and I'm sure @ralleyquattro can get us a picture of it (perhaps it is somewhere on the sticker in picture 119, but I can't see it.) This gets people all the time because if this one was built in October 1994 (example) it could easily get confiscated and crushed if you try to import it, but if it was built in June, you'd sail through with a couple easy forms. Seeing as this is a 1994, I'm guessing it was built in 1993 or early 1994 at the latest, but again, the sticker will show us what we need to know. The built sticker and VIN tags is all you get on the car itself. \r\nEuropean Title has the date of first registration, which for some reason is very important there and is actually used as a search parameter in most European car selling sites like Mobile and Autoscout. \r\nI have the copy of the Spanish Title which states that the first date of registration was January 12 1994. This should be proof enough that the car was manufactured before that date. I will upload the title and official title translation which I needed to register the car in Ontario and avoid paying duty (for cars over 25 years old). \r\nUnlike North America European dates are DD/MM/YY in case someone thinks it is Dec 1st ;) \r\nAlso, back in the day, production of 1994 model year ended at the end of August that year and starting September 1994 the 1995 Model year cars would be built.
