You\u2019re right it\u2019s not well cared for but Valcona is also an aniline leather meaning it is not coated like most auto leathers, which makes it much better feeling and smelling but commands some love for longevity. Which leads me tidily into my next comment about this car: sorry seller but I really would call all buyers to be pretty weary about how much they\u2019re willing to pony up for this particular W12. I see several areas of concern were I looking at this car. Starting in chronological order of the photos I see damage to the chin spoiler- semi normal, but then a misaligned left rear door, the damage highlighted on the right rear fender that will require paint work, leather beginning to shrink around the center defrost vent and right tweeter seen in photo 44, (visible better later on in photo 55 where you can see leather shrinkage on both upper and lower dash), the mismatched tire is unacceptable- 3% deviation between front and rear axle is acceptable per Audi, but there should be no deviation in diameter or tread pattern on the same axle, 1.3% between sides of the same axle is not insignificant, matted Alcantara on the drivers door card and scratch in the wood trim and leather, damage on the outer corners of the front passenger door card, scratch on aluminum trim above the glove box, broken lower wood door between the rear seats, 115v receptacle and door broken off the left side of the rear center console, scratches in the leather of the front seat backs, broken map pocket on right front seat, scratch on rear left B&O tweeter grille, dirty headliner, missing front passenger and one of the rear floor mats, both trunk net lower mounting clips broken, suspension compressor is new but missing it\u2019s protective cover. And just in general the interior looks a bit worse for the wear. This is just what\u2019s apparent in the photos from a quick glance.\r\n\r\nNot that I think this car is too far gone, absolutely not. It can be brought back and probably has a lot of years left but I think it\u2019s safe to say this car needs a PPI before bidding and it should not command top dollar, there\u2019s certainly some glaring issues. \r\n\r\nSuper reliable engines and very few \u2018normal\u2019 weak points on the D4 in general. Probably has never had spark plugs and carbon cleaning done so that will need to be addressed. Control arms as well if they haven\u2019t been done.\r\n\r\nEmerald is a rare color among the 4 shades of black that the D4 W12 was available with. There were only 78 2013 W12s in North America and Emerald may very well be a single digit color given that I know at least around 50 were not Emerald. Even peaking under you can see whether or not the extra connectors for the hydraulic actuators at the back (and the pump itself) and the added clutches to each side of the diff. Basically if there\u2019s a lot going on and it\u2019s big it\u2019s sport diff, if it looks pretty standard and small it\u2019s not.\r\n\r\n@Lenben you bet, easy to make that mistake as you\u2019re exactly right on the V6 and V8 models for specific years. Early on it was included with sport package, later on it was included with the luxury package. However the W12 has its own options list as most everything was standard, just a small list of items that could be added. It had 71,948 miles at the auction so at least we know it was able to drive 386 miles but we also know that the incorrect tire was on for at least this long. Have seen a handful mid-20s about a year ago before things climbed. That 33k mile exclusive W12 that recently sold here was previously listed on various normal sites for $35k.
