My 73 Scout II is still parked behind my parent's garage in Monument. I bought it when I was 21, a guy in Denver had six Scouts in his yard and his wife told him he had to halve his collection. I drove it home and learned so much wrenching on that power thrift six that summer. Took it with me for my last year of school up in Boulder. Many thumbs up and questions on what the heck it was. Not sure why but ladies seem to really dig farm equipment. Even drove it up to Breckenridge for a surprise mother's day visit. I encountered a snow storm coming out of the Eisenhower Tunnel but the Scout did just fine. In hindsight, taking a 38 year old tractor up I-70 might be the dumbest thing I've ever done. Oh well. Never had a more pure experience than driving through the woods with the top off, rowing my way through all 3 gears lol. Mine came with rust and I think it would look strange without it at this point. Living in Vermont now, unfortunately I think she would disintegrate after one east coast winter, so she'll stay in CO. Maybe I'll get her started when I'm out there for Christmas. Wish I back in town to take a look at this beauty.
