Again, this is one of many vehicles in his collection, so I can image sometimes it is hard to keep track of all work.\r\nFrom my observation; \r\nThe engine casings appear to have been media blasted or vapor honed, suggesting that someone has performed a teardown at some point. Given the attention to cosmetic detail, I assume the engine wouldn't have been left in a state needing a rebuild or near its end of life.\r\n\r\nThe engine has great compression, so we're not worried about top-end issues. We also don't hear any concerning noises, and the shifting feels fine. Although there isn't any paperwork documenting engine work, I'm confident that it's not an immediate concern.\r\nPlease note; whoever does buy this, we are more than happy to pull the crankshaft and clean the slingers before pick up to give a piece of mind.
