I purchased this Jeep 3 years ago as it was a lifelong goal to buy a CJ. I have been a fan ever since my brother had a \u201979 CJ with the 304 V8 back in the early 80s. I am parting with this Jeep because we\u2019ve got a 3rd driver in the house now and need to buy a more practical daily driver. \r\n\r\nThe Jeep has been garaged since day 1 of my ownership and has been mainly used as a Sunday driver when the weather is perfect. All work has been performed by my local CJ experts at High-Tech Auto and Truck Center (4.8 rating on Google). Wish I was better at wrenching but I know my limits and wanted all work to be performed correctly. The Jeep is a survivor with original paint in Chestnut Brown Metallic (code 1H). The paint has an exceptional patina, and the triple striping appears to be original as well (likely a dealer added option). All panels are original, and the metal is in considerably great shape with no rust issues. The hardtop that came with the Jeep when I purchased it was in terrible shape and had been poorly repaired a few times. Since I only drove the Jeep in nice weather, I sold the top and never bought a new one. The Jeep drives well with the Borg-Warner T-5 transmission shifting smoothly through all the gears.
