I started the search and found that only 24 3.2 were shipped to the US with manuals. The reason for her wanting the v6 and not the 4.2 S4 was the additional weight in the nose and that the S4 really wasn't that much quicker quicker. This car has been very reliable with over 140k highly abusive miles on it and by the way it is also her track car and sees 4 to 5 track days a year. The only mods are the suspension, a RS4 rear sway bar, and Recaro seats out of an S4. The car is very fun to drive and leave guys in tears at the track when they get passed by a station wagon with roof racks on the track. It is by far not the fastest car, but it is fun to drive.
