H4's, H5's, or another variation of these. There is another Dolphin Grey build on the STRAAT site that the client specified the lighter color of these lights. Take a look and you can see the difference. These lights are very effective.\r\n\r\nThe seats originally installed in this car are great....if you have a 31\" waist. Even then they are snug. Very snug. I loved them, but the current owner requested the swap to the stock seats. \r\n\r\nThe rear seat cushions hide the subwoofer. So I am not sure if a stock bottom cushion will work. I think the rear anchors for the seat belts are still in place. However, I am hardly the authority on making the back seats in a 911 safe. Shame on me in that my sons grew up riding around in the back of old 911's with no seats, only a lap belt , and hanging onto a roll bar. Nothing ever happened, thank God, and we now laugh at some of the fun we had in those cars.\r\n\r\n@David_P yes, that is a 380mm wheel. A pet peeve of mine is not being able to see the gauges clearly, especially at speed. A Prototipo is a great wheel (it works great in my Miata), but I have found it to be too small in a G Body 911.\r\n\r\nMy favorite feature of this build is the carpet. Its the one detail that really stands out to me and it works. I am also to blame for the color combo. I love a green interior with a grey exterior. Dolphin Grey has just enough green to really work. This is my favorite color combo, even over all the hot rods I have done for myself. \r\n\r\n@HTClassicCars I am hardly The Stig, but I did enjoy running some laps at Lime Rock in this car and also on the surrounding roads. The motor has a very smooth power delivery and nice mid range torque. Everything comes on smooth. No flat spots. The coilovers transform the car with great feed back and a great ride too. This car is great for spirited street driving that will not beat you up. Motor is pretty stock except for the intake so it has the great qualities of the 3 liter, which is one of my favorite Porsche motors. I like a 915 gearbox and I think this car has the same shifter that is in my car which is the JWest Rennshift. Its not as notch as the Wevo. The brakes are great and balanced. The primary goal here was finding a 911 that did not need massive bodywork repairs. We put a lot of hours, love and passion into our builds. I\u2019d like to share my driving impressions based on the many test miles that I perform with every one of our builds. \r\n\r\n \r\nI certainly think the feeling and sound that you get with the PMO throttle bodies defines the character of the car. It sounds and feels like a carbureted car, which I love, but has the crispness and adaptability of fuel injection. This car sounds amazing in all the rev range and beautifully when you hit 5k RPM and above. The PMO/ Halltech really gives the car an extra punch in the higher rev range and is docile for street driving.\r\n\r\n \r\nThe 930 brakes are a huge improvement over the stock brakes and I would say a must when you use this size wheels. This thing really stops and has great pedal feel. \r\n\r\n \r\nI had underestimated the possible benefits of the coil over conversion, an upgrade (always a must according to my colleague @eniisk1 ) until I drove the car. Immediately I noticed that the ride is better, and more than anything the car handles much better when turning and negotiation uneven surfaces or bumps at the same time. The car tracks MUCH better than with the stock setup. The suspension is firm enough to make the car sporty but not so stiff that it will ruin a casual drive.\r\n\r\n \r\nThe A/C was upgraded in many ways to make it much more efficient than stock. We are in Miami so we have converted many 70\u2019s and 80\u2019s 911 A/C\u2019s to be able to drive during our loooong and humid summers.\r\n\r\n \r\nThe short shifter also adds a nice sensation to the driving feel of the car. The Stereo system is also great, though to be honest, this car sounds so good that I probably never used it . I will post the details of the audio system tomorrow because audiophiles will appreciate it.\r\n\r\n \r\nWe went through several test cycles to make sure the car felt right and the setup was correct. We spent several hours making sure the EFI was properly tuned and the linkage and pedal travel felt right for the street. The short shifter was also adjusted until it felt correct. The suspension and sway bars were adjusted after test miles to make sure nothing was loose and there was no rattling or other noises.\r\n\r\n \r\nThis is a very nicely balanced and civilized hot rod that was setup to be fun to drive and designed to evoke several eras of Porsche design. It will be great for casual city driving, mountain roads, road rallies, or to rev up an everyday coffee run!
