Thank You guys for all the wonderful comments you gave my girlie Thinking back we had 3 Dune Buggies growing up this was the last one Man I remember the rides and parades but when I got it to Florida I was in a position to restore it and that I did I bought a 34 foot trailer after winning Best of show at Jacksonville beach and VW trends interviewed me for a article I was bit real hard So I showed it all up in down the east coast one thing I noticed at the show\u2019s there were no Meyers Manx\u2019s My dad always said to feel the thickness of the front fender so every show I went to I always did this To this day I have never felt one this thick even when I finally got to feel a real one My dad said he asked Bruce about this and he said he made a few off road thick bodies but couldn\u2019t keep doing it due to cost So I believe this to be one I took a pick of the thickness in a photo that is used as a spacer for the roll bar to prove my point I\u2019m going to miss my girlie I pulled it to Manx in the Sunshine for one last show I took my 1966 El Camino took me 7 years to restore it from ground up It was so cool !
