After that she does like to warm up a bit before putting in gear. Then she runs strong and smooth, easily breaking the back tires loose, my kids call her \u201csuper fast car\u201d however I typically drive it like my great grand mother did. Driving down the road the steering is straight and it breaks good for a four wheel drum break car. The suspension is soft but typical for the type of car and era. She just floats down the highway. I guess one other thing I didn\u2019t mention is the speedometer occasionally squeaks.\r\nTypically she is stored in a cement floor garage bay for the winter with the frame on blocks so the suspension can hang. Summer time I keep her at my families boat yard in a covered shed. She is always covered and typically has a light cover over her in the shed too. In ten years I have never had a problem laying her up or breaking her back out.\r\nI can produce service records for the past ten years from the one shop I always go to, not to much to see, oil changes, some break work, a water pump ect. Before that I have a thick folder from my uncle who saved everything.\r\nThe leak from the rear end I believe was coming from the yolk, It had a slow weep for years, wouldn\u2019t even leave a puddle on cement, the shop talked me into doing it I think they were slow.\r\nI hope the car goes to a good home, I don\u2019t drive her nearly enough, 150 miles a year, mostly to get ice cream or a local car show or to a wedding. Everyone I know is married now soooo. It is difficult for me to take out because I don\u2019t garage her at the house and I wont leave her out in the rain, and I don\u2019t even like parking under the pine trees in my own drive way! \r\nI have two kids, two jobs, and a million other projects, I don\u2019t see that changing for a long time.
