Earlier this year he decided to upgrade to a newer truck and camper so we happily took this beautiful double blue bullnose off his hands. \n\nImmediately upon its arrival from the west coast it was very obvious how cared for this truck was, the seat wasn\u2019t torn, dash pad is in good shape (both rare for bullnoses) and everything on the truck still worked. The previous owner stated the mileage to be 131k miles and the interior condition would agree with that. The 460 V8 is the sweet spot for these bullnoses, not exactly fuel efficient but moves the truck along with ease and makes all the right noises. \n\nThe body on this truck has just the right amount of patina and lack for rust (thanks PNW). The Warn winch bumper is the icing on the cake to me. The truck did need a better of wheels than the aftermarket ones that were on it so we fit a set of aluminum bullet holes with new tires. \n\nAfter getting this truck dialed in, we are really excited to offer this beautiful bullnose to the BaT community!\n\nWe will be here for the duration to answer any questions and encourage conversation. My opinion is the truck had 99k and 106k on it at that time for a number of reasons and a tech just entered it incorrectly. \n\nAssuming the 47,800 reported by the Oregon DMV was correct on 11/28/1995 the truck did +-5,300 miles per year from 1986-1995. Then according to this repair shop it did 151,772 miles in the next 5 years (12/20/2000 service) which is a jump to +-30,300 a year. Then at the next service on 10/16/2001 it had done +-7,000 which is much more inline with the first 9 years of its life. \n\nUsing my opinion that it was 99k not 199k on 12/20/00 it would come out to +-10,300 miles a year which is much more realistic and probable. \n\nFinally and most importantly I look at the condition of the unrestored/unreplaced seat, carpet, dash pad, steering wheel, switch gear and engine bay. They all have held up exceptionally well even for 131k miles, bullnose interiors aren\u2019t exactly known to be the most durable and it still looks great. I look over lots and lots of these trucks and 90s rigs and I think we all forget how horrible plastic can age. The interior in this truck looks exceptional for the age and miles. Like myself I don\u2019t like to \u201c over detail \u201c these trucks and looks like this one underneath is presented how it\u2019s lived which is what buyers should be looking for. If you wanna see some red flags fly up on these look for undercoating , fresh black paint underneath or the term refresh \u2026. These will always have some light surface rust but ultimately should look like this inside and underneath if taken care of. \r\n\r\nOn a side note \u2026. The St Paul Rodeo is a blast ! And this would be a great one to drink beer out of at it. Wished I had found this one before it left the PNW. It was early one Friday night after a long, hot week of bridge building outside of Umatilla. The 90-MPH trip up the Columbia Gorge back to the Willamette Valley was made in time to get to the beer gardens and the beauties I sought there. (And both beer and beauties were found in bountiful splendor)\r\n\r\nThe group of bride's maids found therein were quite lovely and convincing - and not a little bit drunk - and their story of desperation and emphatic plea of needing a \"Captain\" to skipper their rented house boat they were due to take possession for their multi-day Californian bachelorette party struck soundly a significant cord in my young, gallant heart. Nothing, in fact, had ever chimed more loudly for chivalry, anywhere or anytime yet, in my wild, oat-sowing life. \r\n\r\nHence, it was an amazing sunrise over the timbered mountains surrounding Shasta Lake - nearly 400 miles south - that awoke me the next morning. From a brief slumber upon the cold blue vinyl seat in the cab of my Ford I opened my eyes wondering how a large pontoon boat should be fueled and started, let alone piloted and moored and not able to remember even a single name out of the dozen girls (though, \"babe\", \"Sweetheart\", Honey\" and \"Doll\" got me further than sensibility should allow) Truth be told, I'd never before piloted a large boat or, in fact, any boat. \r\n\r\nIt was a memorable week long trip and forty years later I still retain extraordinary snapshots of it in my mind.
