Peter Petrol here...long time listener, first time caller. This gorgeous 1951 Mercury belonged to my late father in law and I have known this car for 26 years. He bought this car in 1985 and its original color was white (or cream...hard to tell from the old photos). There may be questions asked that I won't be able to answer - such as the Mopar paint code that was used - as the documents for the build have been lost in a few household moves over the years. \r\n\r\nThe car does come with the original steering column and steering wheel. It also comes with a pretty cool Mercury branded fender cover and indoor car cover. Underneath, the X-Frame is solid and was undercoated probably in the mid-1990's as was the trend at the time. \r\n\r\nIt has a Dana 44 (original) with the original Mercury-o-matic 4.55 gears. The original gauges are not connected and would required a 6-volt drop to make them operational. I do not know if the radio will work once you connect power. Manual steering, manual brakes.
