First off, I would like to give a brief history of my ownership and what my original plans were for the truck. I purchased the truck from a Chevrolet dealer in Indiana in 2017 that had taken it in on trade from the original owner. So unfortunately, I do not know why the original owner had only put on approximately 1400 miles in his first 10 years of ownership. When I bought the truck, I had fully planned on daily driving it. I had been looking for a Vortec Max specifically, months prior to finding this one. I wanted to build a sport truck with 4x4 that I could daily drive and the Vortec Max had many performance benefits for me over a standard truck. An all-aluminum 6.0 liter and a HD 14 bolt 9.5\u201d rear axle opposed to the 10 bolt rear axle in a standard truck. I wanted to install an aftermarket camshaft and supercharger but first I wanted to make sure that the transmission would hold up and not ever give me any future problems. \r\n So, I had the original 4l70e transmission replaced with a fully built 4l80e transmission (out of a 07 2500) including many billet parts internally, an aftermarket trans cooler, and the TCM reprogrammed to work properly with the new trans. This transmission is rated for over 1k hp! The truck shifts and drives beautifully and you would not know the transmission is any different than stock! \r\nOnce I had that done (fall of 2017) I decided to store it for the winter because at the time I didn\u2019t have the money to finish the engine work I wanted to do. Well things get in the way, and I never got to finish building the truck. Along with that I had a hard time with the idea of driving it in the winter, (MN Salt), because of how well the truck had been preserved to that point. So, I hope somebody can finish what I started and build an awesome street truck! Or leave the truck as is and enjoy driving one of the nicest 07-13 Silverado\u2019s in existence!\r\nI\u2019d like to add that this truck is 10/10 in every aspect, paint, interior, mechanically. It is 100% original paint, there are zero dents/dings/scratches. The only flaw I can think of is a little bit of the frame wax has been rubbed off the frame from the original owner having put it on a 2-post car lift at some point, as you can see in the pics. It has Always been stored indoors and never been driven in the rain, winter, or down a gravel road.
