My 2007 GT500 had the same thing happen to it. It's an easy fix by using 3M green can spray glue and some very good masking. If you don't go crazy with the glue when finished it looks totally factory and you wouldn't know there was ever a problem. It should have stated trans inspected. As I previously stated I took it in to have the linkage bushings looked at which were found to be fine and it was test drove and found to be in good shape. I wanted to be sure prior to putting it up for sale. When the trans is cold the first couple of shifts into 2nd are firm, after that it is fine. The seat cover is leather and a perfect match to the OEM. It was professionally installed. The installer said that the attachment tabs were not in the same places and the OEM which made installation more difficult. The combination of subdued purposeful appearance and the fine tuning throughout the chassis and drivetrain produced a driver's car that exceeds the sum of its parts. I had a 2008 and as a Peter Egan fan his own reasoning to buy one that he wrote about was exactly right. I don't exaggerate when noting I've owned over 300 cars, not a dealer, and the Bullitt experience was one of my favorites. It's one that regret letting go in hindsight.\r\n\r\n @Aeneas137 I appreciate your comment as I also tend to tinker and cars that should be left alone are tough for me. After my Bullitt time I was excited by the Boss 302 intro as it appeared to channel the same engineering philosophy with the benefit of more power (though for me garish graphics). I was frankly disappointed with a test drive as it didn't give me the same solid sensation. If I was to have another, one thing I would do is a supercharger. The Edelbrock E-Force fits under the strut brace and is very efficient.
