I was previously using a set of Yokohama ADVAN A052's (205/50R15/225/50R15), which, although objectively better tires, really could feel a little squirrelly and squishy at speed, with unnerving lateral movements at times. After switching to OE sizes I feel the car just feels better all around. The resale for the Honda is far superior and that\u2019s great if you\u2019re selling one but if you\u2019re trying to buy one forget about it. Go with this car. I also thought the top was really interesting; it has an almost rubbery feel to it that I've never seen on any other convertible. It's cool to see the JDM \"Midship Runabout\" badge again - I ordered a custom one in red for mine.\r\n\r\nAs for storage, it's true there isn't much, but you can fit more than you think when you get creative. I helped a friend move some of his stuff into a new apartment with mine once - it wasn't comfortable for him, but he didn't have a car, and with the top down you can transport a standing lamp, a guitar, a trash can, and various bathroom towels and sundries!\r\n\r\nThese are also fun in the snow with snow tires. In retrospect these cars are too special to ruin with snow and salt, but at the time it was my only car, and it was fun to cruise around like Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen. It sounds like tires are hard to find now, so I can't imagine snow tires are available anymore.\r\n\r\nI wish I could've kept my Spyder longer. If you ever wanted to know what an adult go kart feels like, drive this car. The one thing that I found shocking about it was how extremely comfortable the car was. I drove mine from Texas to New York in two days, putting on slightly over 1700 miles. I have a video of the journey and I kept commenting throughout the video how I could not believe the comfort of the car. That little 1.8 liter motor hums very nicely behind you and honestly is not annoying at all.
