It is NOT a K3 style replica, although the power and driving experience will be the same or more. Note, the original three cars were not blown, nor did they have pre-selectors or external exhaust. \r\n\r\nThe three NA Specials were all blue with cream wheels and stripe, as were all the Evans family MG's. BLL 492 was probably the most famous of the three, because it was driven by Doreen Evans, one of the \"Dancing Daughters\" Le Mans drivers in 1934. We do not know what internals are in this engine but it runs excellently and has great compression in all six cylinders ( compression test results above). The preselector transmission was rebuilt by a regional expert. The blower did not require a rebuild. It\u2019s still nice and maybe even somewhat important to bring interesting prewars to our Bat community as I have done as well a couple of times. I hope they come back into the sun here in the states and for now my prewar interest is mostly centered on watching the UK from afar where the nice weather of spring and prewar culture is coming back alive and they have endless prewar runs to pubs in them, daffodil runs (the Alvis I had on here did one of those) and the VSCC even put them in off road trials that we\u2019d turn into off road parks for jeeps .
