He even wrote a nice thank you note to Henry Ford singing the praises of the car. He was particularly pleased with the power of the Flat Head V8 and its suitability for his \"work\". I don't think ever actually bought a '34 Ford, he tended to steal his cars. And, as fate would have it, Dillinger himself went out of \"production\" in July of '34, when the G Men caught up with him in Chicago.
