I can declare nearly any value I want with Hagerty, that doesn\u2019t it mean it\u2019s a street price.\n\n2) Your second point is also based on the same source so the above applies. \n\nI would agree that 240z prices are moving but drivers are readily available for under $10k, MGCs are simply not.\n\n3) \u201cMG and other Brits \u201c covers a huge variety of cars, from this MGC to Lotus Elans to big Healeys and others.\n\nMaking a sweeping statement about that diverse of a group of cars is highly questionable (to be charitable). MGC roadster prices, to be specific and close to home on this thread, are on a continued run for example. Big Healeys may have softened some but good cars are still commonly $60k and above. Jaguar XKE prices anyone? Aston?\n\nFinally would venture it is bad form to speculate on why a given make/model isn\u2019t worth buying during a live auction of that make/model (especially based on iffy claims).
