There is no corrosion in the areas you asked about or any other areas as unlikely as that would seem. You can see from the photos that the wood is excellent. The starter-generator works properly and is very sufficient to start the cat easily although I have no reference to define turn quickly and yes it charges properly. The fuel system maintains pressure nicely and the only time you pump it up from the dash pump is prior to operating the car. The seats are tattered and torn and there are no side curtains ( long long gone). The wooden bows are in excellent condition as shown in photos. The top is only ok for patterns unless preserving the original\r\nmaterial is important as it has been for me.
