A 2CV with the 602cc engine is likely to be capable of 120kmh. When mine had in the neighborhood of 55,000 kms we could peg then needle all the way to right (if you look there is a Dot to the right of the 120, implying 125kmh when pegged) with 4 good sized (American) men in the car. It took about twice as long to hit top speed with 4 people than it does when I'm solo. And, this was before a 123 was installed and before a high output Accel ignition coil replaced the stock unit. With over 145,000 km on the clock it still will peg at 125, but its been a while since it's held more than 2 people. Top Speed is on level roads with no headwinds. Change either parameter and top speed goes down, and with both, the slowing down can be painful. Mine is a Charleston and boy oh boy how the colors on the decals have faded from Burgundy red to purple. Paint on the wind flap is worn out and the gray primer is wearing out too.
