I guess today is our lucky day :)\r\n\r\nThanks for tuning into the auction to re-home what is one of the nicest Wagoneers I\u2019ve personally seen. To preface, we\u2019re representing this Jeep on behalf of a long-time friend and fellow Jeep aficionado. I would be remiss if I didn\u2019t thank Chris for trusting us and the @BaT team to sell his beauty at No Reserve. Anyway, onto the Jeep!\r\n\r\nThe listing writeup is comprehensive of the Jeep\u2019s condition from the exterior, interior, mechanicals, and ownership history; however, we always like to add more context for you all and detail some of the \u201cunwrittens.\u201d To start on the outside, the Dark Baltic Metallic paint on this Wagoneer is undoubtedly the nicest I\u2019ve ever seen. There is no fading, bubbling, or unoriginal panels. The wood paneling vinyl is in great condition alongside the surrounding trim. \u2028\u2028\r\n\r\nThe interior is completely original with the exception of a car phone that was added by the selling dealer back when it was new and the headliner fabric which was replaced earlier this year. I\u2019d love to add more detail here, but I think the photos speak for themselves. The leather-trimmed seats are usually torn to shreds on these Wagoneers, not the case here.\u2028\u2028\r\n\r\nOnto the mechanical (boring) part of the Jeep. Not to sound like too much of a broke record, but there are no stories here. The 4.0L is strong and smooth. Oil pressure is great, there are no weird noises, and no leaks present. The cooling system keeps the Jeep below 210\u00ba and the steering is tight and smooth. The AW4 transmission shifts as it should, benefitting from a fluid change earlier this year. The transfer case shifts through both ranges and the 4WD activates without a hiccup. AC is cold and the heat is hot, all lights are functioning, and power options are operating as they should. \u2028\u2028\r\n\r\nPhotos of the underside are included in the gallery. Safe to say that rust is not an issue on this Wagoneer as it has always been garaged. Please take a look at the unibody rails, floor pans, and suspension components, as they speak to the condition best.\r\n\r\nLastly, the ownership history. The Jeep was acquired new from the now-defunct Woodside AMC, Jeep, Eagle dealership in New York. It was purchased by the original owner as a secondary vehicle in a Shelter Island home out on Long Island, where it was garaged and used as a summer vehicle until eventually sold as part of their estate auction. These are the kind of people who you would be lucky to buy from, not only because of their passion for Jeeps, but for their knowledge and kindness as well. We tend to keep the vehicles in our collection that come with great memories behind them.
