It will eventually leave you stranded. The people who prep a Sonett for autocross will call up Ashcraft (like I did) and get the kit to weld that bad boy solid) You then have instant throttle response with no slipping!\nI also added custom offset wheels made for mine out of steelies, (still have them actually) and there is a short motor mount kit to drop the engine in the chassis which was helpful too. I also did the Ashcraft recommended exhaust which if I remember correctly was a 2 into 1 into 2 set up. All these tweaks along with the engine mods (carb, cam etc) made one really nice street prepared autocrosser.
