They were mounted on the left side of the engine under the intake. I never liked the mechanical pumps, so I always mounted a Purolator electric in the trunk near the tank, and blocked out the hoe on the side of the engine block where the fuel pump goes with a block plate from a '79 or later, which is when Fiat started putting Bosh fuel injection on them. The hood with the larger blisters is from a '79 or later model. That was when Fiat increased the stroke of the engine by making the block a little taller, which increased displacement by 200cc. The taller block meant that they needed a little more clearance under the hood. If smog is a worry search for '75 and older or '81 and newer with the easy to own Bosch FI system. \n\n@nacho there's a bit more required to transform this into a Abarth tribute. You'll need the correct hardtop and the correct Cromodora wheels, not the Daytonas, both are hens teeth. Then there's a myriad of other modifications like repositioning the fuel filler. The Abarth also had a IRS, a good place for a full stop on tribute correctness. I've seen a few nicely done, but most just pull the bumpers and are done. \n\nThere is some rust, the seller has photographed it in detail around the right tail lamp. Some of the seams on the underbody shot look swollen, but it may just be how the picture was taken. \n\nThere is a lot to like on the car and personal preference items are easily swapped.
