The Cadillac Monobloc V8 dates from 1936.\n\nInterestingly, the Cadillac V8s were used in World War 2 to power various tanks like the M5 Stuart light tank. Two V8s and two Hydramatic transmissions were used which replaced the aircraft engine used in the M3 version of the Stuart. They were also used in the M24 Chaffee.\n\n\nThis is a very handsome car that probably still drives nice on modern roads.
