She has sensible engine upgrades and is quite fast for a normally aspirated motor. Easily keeps up in busy Detroit traffic and while you COULD drive her on the freeway, just don\u2019t, she doesn\u2019t like it!\r\n\r\nYes, ALL TCs are right hand drive and no, you won\u2019t have any issue learning\u2026 It\u2019s just as easy as driving a LHD car except you\u2019ll look goofy when you walk up to the wrong side in a car park. We took great care with restoring the original suspension and steering related components, and as can be seen in the driving video, she is very stable and goes exactly where you want to. The rifle-bolt action gearbox will make you grin every time you shift. She will win a prize at nearly every show you attend. \r\n\r\nYes, she will drip oil on your garage floor, and smell like petrol and leather. You will pull up to a coffee shop, step out, casually toss your flight goggles and white silk scarf on the seat, and stroll in for a brew feeling like Hap Adams after winning the Bullet Road Race. You never need to take the keys with you since she can be parked all day on the street, and still be there when you come back because no one will figure out how to start her. \r\n\r\nNew ash framing means the doors close solidly without needing bungie cords, extra latches or other nonsense. There is no top or side curtains\u2026 a waxed cotton motorcycle jacket is all you need in the rain and maybe a leather sheepskin-lined coat when the temperature dips below 40\u00ba. \r\n\r\nGigi is not perfect. She has years of love, patina, scratches, scuffs and holes in odd places. All easily forgotten when behind the wheel with the fall leaves swirling in your slipstream. Ultra rare because they were only included in some cars and most came with a somewhat elaborately \"THOR\" marked hammer. After many decades the \"THOR\" became more popular and was widely available aftermarket, and people forgot about the lowly unmarked original hammers included with some TC's. The only other marking besides the \"1\" is a patent number on the other side that traces back to the Thor parent company back in the day. Most of the \"1\" hammers were tossed in the trash because people did not know what they were, and were assured by the experts that the car should have the \"THOR\" hammer. So much for experts... Right behind the dipstick and sometimes upside down. A letter to indicate month (A for January, E for May etc) and before the letter is a number for day of month. The seat base fronts are hinged to allow easy removal of the seat back, similar to the original configuration. The seat back hinged tabs were installed to push the back as far to the rear as possible. With my 33\u201d inseam my legs are completely straight. With socks or driving shoes my size 11 left foot slips between the clutch and gearbox and i have to extend my foot a bit to touch the toe board. My throttle foot is essentially straight when driving.
