We called it the Manx Makeover. A team from Mid Anerica purchased the original purple manx I found on Craigslist and gathered parts. My friends and menbers if the dubebuggyarchives.com website gathered to assemble the buggy at the Funfest VW show that year. My 11 year old son (at that time) did alot of the top end engine assembly. Bruce Meyers was at the event and signed the hood giving it his stamp of approval.
