The dipstick's range (low-full) is about 3 qts. Don't top off the oil; aim for about a qt below full. Less oil gets through the guides and doesn't disappear as fast. Don't park it sideways on a hill. The low side guides will let oil by and startup with a blue cloud. Learn to correctly check the oil. The oil level gauge shouldn't be counted on. Use the dip stick, with the engine warm and the car sitting on the level. The dash gauge only works when the car is warm, on the level, and engine is idling (ie. at stop lights). Also, until the valves are replaced, use an older style oil with zinc or add a zinc additive; else the tappets will wear faster. \n\nThis car having a 3.2 with EFI (as opposed to the 3.0 with CSI, the crippled cams and crippled exhaust, and possible smog pump) is really a great upgrade! That crippled 3.0 engine is why SCs will remain some of the cheapest of the 911s. Also, no purist should give you a hard time about the engine modifications. Too bad he doesn't have the old parts.\n\nI routed the hoses out of the way and opened up a big space in my engine bay, not to mention losing probably 40 lbs. You almost have to cut them to get them out.\n\nI left the AC circulator fan and control in the console so I can use the frunk fan to blow fresh air in through the vents.\n\nI will also add that my front condenser fan seized up and almost burnt up the car, luckily I smelled it and shut it down. I pulled that out and blocked off the opening.\n\nAnyone running one of these cars should seriously consider putting in a few in line fuses to the circulator motors and dash lights as the fusing is really lacking.\n\nIt's about an hours work and no cutting of wires is needed.
