Power dropped from 65 hp to 55 by 74. That is nearly 20%. I will add that I am not sure if some of the change maybe due to changes from gross to net HP rat gsthst occured over this time period, but the '67 was cleaner and slightly stronger performance wise. However, it does have the 1275 cc engine which with some modest upgrades can give you a lot of performance for the dollar. It isn't a rubber bumpered MGB, so IMHO much better looking and lighter. Also, this MG has spin off wire wheels which really enhance the overall classic look. Very little rust from what I can see and with a little refurbishing the owner will have an inexpensive British sports car that will give them years of enjoyment.
