However, given the availability of reproduction components, there are likely two to three times that many today. \r\nThis Roadster was built with reproduction parts and pieces in a traditional style; full-fendered, original style headlights and taillights, bumpers, door handles, hood and grille, and painted in a contemporary color. \r\nA few things that have not been mentioned: The windshield appears to be 'chopped' 2\", the rear bumper irons look to be 'shorties' designed by Bob Valenzuela, the e-brake handle is from a '40 Ford.\r\nThe appraisal is of little value. The appraiser did not seem to be knowledgeable about hot rods. It's a Brookville body, not a Brookfield. It's Limeworks, not Lineworks. The gauges are Stewart-Warner 'Winged Series', not simply 'Chrome Black Round Face Gauges.' The list of components is incomplete and inaccurate.\r\nIt could benefit from a little TLC. The door strap would be an easy fix. So would the chipped paint on the cowl. The welding on the rearend looks like I did it (that's not a compliment) but doesn't hurt anything. The wheels must have been painted black without dismounting the tires, you can still see red in a couple of pictures.\r\nOverall, a nice looking traditional styled '32 that will provide a new owner with a lot of enjoyment. A wise guy once said; a roadster trunk won't hold everything you own but it will hold everything you need. Shop had a good reputation. I stripped the trim,bumpers, wipers etc. Any suspicious spots, i sanded to make sure no rust was lurking. $3500 with a 5 year warranty. Not concours but very close to original. Its all in the prep.
