Wrote an email to BAT and they published it but at the Day it was initially written so was buried in the back posts and not too many people have viewed it. I am a prior owner and can answer some of your responses. The missing dipstick is a combo oil temperature gauge / dipstick. It is not missing. The air cleaners were replaced with the velocity stacks as shown which was a choice I made. When I sold the car the Knecht air cleaners were included in a box of parts. I personally liked the velocity stacks both the sound and performance factor. The main thing not disclosed was the accident I had with it which took out the rear clip, bumper, skirt, tail lights, sprung the drivers door, bent the window frame and popped the rear window out. A friend and I cut off the rear clip and he tried his best to straighten it out but the general consensus was to find a new rear clip which I never pursued because there were other things which if addressed properly would never be cost beneficial. There was serious bondo in the right front fender near where the fender was as well as in the rockers. Several areas were evident of bondo like the rockers and front clip. This one will never be a 4 or 5 but was a strong driver. Never stranded me but always needed a little work here or there. I liked the color combo but so many little things needed addressing which probably still exist. It needed new transmission mounts, had several,electrical gremlins, the tach was problematic in that the sender's threads were stripped, mismatched parts like both 356A and B brake drums in the front ( think finned and not). I had a friend who is very knowledgeable on 356s look it over for me. He said \"it looks like a 356 and drives like a 356\". I liked it but any buyer needs to know what they are getting into. Still worth the current bid imho but getting close. I was also told that the previous owner had taken the rear apart at the welds and I would have to put together. i was also told that the everything else worked on the car. The car rear was reassembled at a body shop at the factory spots. We repainted the car and assembled. I have done electrical work on the car but that is not unusual with these older generation cars. If the car was in an accident i did not know but if it was an incident with the rear panel then yes that was repaired. I love the car and enjoy driving the little time I have. As the previous owner said, it is a great driver. I never met the previous owner just the dealer. The bumper guards look older, the bumper was newer and the tail lights are new. Like someone pointed out, these cars go from 30k to 130k. 30 being a rust bucket and 130 being a concourse. On a scale of 1 to 4 with 4 being the worst and 1 being the best in class I believe this car is a good 3. You probably should further delineate the B between the T5 and the T6. The T6's only difference from outward appearance to the C or SC are the hubcaps and badging. The hubcaps are different due to disc brake wheels. I'm surprized this one didn't go higher. I removed the engine when I cut off the rear clip. All the sheet metal for the pan around the engine was there and was included when I sold it.
