The yellow paint you see underneath is the production line inspector check points. He would mark it with paint as he double checked each bolt torque. It is exremely rare to see so many still visible on one of these. Just so you know, the Hondamatic transmission is a semi-auto. Its a 2 speed and you need to shift but there is no clutch. Easy to drive and the automatic speedo face has the shift point on it. Presently it has a 5 speed speedo face, which gets swapped to make it correct. It only takes 5-6 hours to swap everything over. Normally the auto was not available with the deluxe gauge package, but its not easy to undo the gauge package because for the centre pod install the faux woodgrain on the dash gets removed to make way for the gauges. Trust me if was a cold chill running up my spine when I made that cut with a knife! So yes the original gauges go with it, but there is no new faux wood grain to replace the cut sticker. Btw the speedo in the car now is actually the original one with the face exchanged. I have also questioned the hood crack as well because it seems odd there would be a paint crack. When I bought the car the owner told me it was only the front left corner and the rest of the car is original paint. The left door and fender have a slight colour mismatch and I dont see that on the hood. I will attach a picture of the claims document. Note the document shows the correct vin and top right corner is the date. The list of damage only lists the left front area items and the door. I see no mention of the hood.
