I love the car and have had it for a year and already put over 1000 miles on it , for a total of 23,500 miles. \n\nThe 09\u2019s have the different wing and other front end and they only made 26 of them 4 or 5 in Ardent red, I don\u2019t remember. My seats are the same except all black, I like the red seats better as it would match my car. LOL. I like my style wheels better and many in here said they like the 5 spoke better. The blower motor resistor is a common failure point. In LHD cars the resistor is on the bottom of the motor and over time moisture can cause failure. Lotus put out and update to drill 4 holes in the floor of that area to allow drainage. A properly working AC in these cars works well. (coming from experience driving them in 95-100 deg temps). The largest issue is over time foam and sealing breaks down. Resealing the air box helps a ton and makes a huge difference on a car where a lot of degradation has taken place. My guess is a car like this was stored very well and that would not be my concern. Tinting side window, and possibly even a IR reflective front windshield film. My car has only side windows tinted to 30% and ac is perfectly fine up to 100. Great news is these cars are SUPER easy to work on. High was 93 here today, but it was probably only 90 when I left. If the windows are down it is pretty hot with that warm air coming in. With the windows up the car was nice and cool. I did usually have the fan on full speed but did cut back to the middle speed for awhile. I tried the recirculating button and can\u2019t tell any difference? On most cars that seems to increase fan speed a bit and supposedly cool a bit more?\r\n\r\nAs typical Lotus, noticed another problem. With my windows all the way up, somehow they are out of adjustment and the passenger door window has a gap at the top, where it doesn\u2019t roll up all the way. On inside of door there are few screws visible which adjust track/tilt of rails. If you take door panel off (simple with like 4 screws) there is a I believe a stop on the lifting mech with jamb nut for overall ht. Not hard at all.
