Sourcing wheels and tires should not be terrible as these look nice but don\u2019t do the car justice with the way it was ordered and built. Yes, the pop up roof , a common dealer or Aftermarket add on is not the best vs the Astro roof or T Tops, but it\u2019s there and how it was done back in \u201887. The issue with gauges, hope the dash was not hacked behind that pod, otherwise, leave it be. I always removed the faceplate on the right side of the dash kept it, purchased a plate with three holes in it for what I wanted for a gauge pack. The sheer variety of the turbo optioned base and limited models is pretty cool with paint and interior colors being chosen by the buyer. \r\n\r\n@RWD-FTW the seat recliner was an option I believe, the passenger side has it. It may not even have been available on the driver\u2019s side. If you wanted to change the tilt you had to order the power seat. The seat backs in american cars were always too reclined. On the GM seats you can fashion a spacer which you can jam in the seatback stop in the hinge to get more upright, which I did in my own Turbo Regal bucket seat.\r\n\r\nThis car has a few modifications that are obvious. I can see in the underbody shots this car has Front frame braces from a Cutlass or Monte added. There were a number of frame and body braces notably the front frame, front fender and rear seatback used in many of the other G bodies, but Buick must have preferred the flexible chassis since they used none of them. I couldn\u2019t figure what the downside was so I added bracing in all the known areas. It be would no different than repainting a set of replacement bumper fillers.
