I had its little brother, the GS650G (the G suffix was common to their shafties), and it was really a wonderful bike. Primarily because no chain to lube and adjust, no continual cleaning of the rear wheel, etc. \n\nSold mine to a friend after four years, and he then proceeded to really pile on the miles as a commuter. I think I put the first 25,000 miles on it, and he loaded on another 75K. A buddy bought one and compared to my Gs1000, it was a little sluggish off the line but once it got moving he had no problem keeping up. \r\n\r\nIf I recall, these had air assist in the front shocks but Suzuki didn\u2019t give him a gauge a pump like they did with my GS1000.
